Miranda Swartz 

Miranda Swartz is a lifelong Lansing resident dedicated to improving her community. After graduating from Lansing Everett, Miranda attended Lansing Community College and then completed the IBEW 665 electrical apprenticeship program. In her 13 years with Superior Electric of Lansing, Miranda has helped create and build electrical systems for critical local projects, including the Ingham County Justice Center, the Ingham county Medical Care Facility, and many at MSU.

A mother of three, Miranda is active in the Lansing community. She regularly volunteers with her IBEW brothers and sisters and supports various benefits for neighbors in need. In her free time, Miranda loves fishing, hunting, motorcycling and playing golf.

In recent years, Miranda has overcome breast cancer and back surgery, and now is looking to give back to the community she loves. Miranda will bring decades of Lansing perspective and local business experience to the Charter Commission’s work.
